This position serves as a vital leader within the banquet department, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operation of all food service functions. You will be responsible for administering departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures while managing labor, equipment inventory, and banquet check preparation. The role requires close coordination with the Banquet Chef and Captains to maintain current status on daily activities and upcoming events.
As a key member of the team, you will oversee supervisory activities ranging from set-up and service delivery to tear-down operations. You will play a critical role in developing schedules, forecasts, and budgets, while also assisting in the interviewing, training, and performance evaluation of departmental employees. Your focus will be on ensuring superior levels of performance, responding to guest complaints professionally, and recommending operational changes to maintain market dominance and exceptional financial performance.
