The Minot Hot Tots began play in 2023 and quickly became one of the most exciting teams in the Northwoods League (NWL)—the largest organized baseball league in the world. In their first three seasons, the Hot Tots made history as the first team to sell out Corbett Field since the 1990s, including 20 sold-out games in 2025. The team has brought home multiple League Awards, including Team Member of the Year and Theme Night of the Year.
In 2024, the Minot Honeybees joined the league as one of four inaugural teams in the NWL's first-of-its-kind summer collegiate softball league. In 2025, the Honeybees brought home many League Awards, including Organization of the Year and Executive of the Year.
Both teams bring the mission of "Fun Done Differently" to life every season. Interns will gain hands-on experience supporting both organizations, learning, creating, and growing in a fast-paced, fun, and community-driven sports environment.
The Minot Hot Tots & Honeybees are offering internship opportunities for current college students with an interest in stadium operations. These internships provide students with immersive, hands-on learning to help position them for a career in the sports, entertainment, and event industry upon graduation.
As a Ballpark Operations Intern, you will support the ballpark operations and events teams. This is a hands-on role with minimal desk work, designed for passionate, talented, and positive people who strive for excellence and inspire the same in others. You will work closely with the operations department to ensure all ballpark and event food and beverage operations are executed while providing the highest level of service to fans and staff.
We uphold core values of Experience, Positivity, Innovation, and Community. These values set the tone in everything we do, guide how we serve our fans, and help us create lasting memories both on and off the field. It is essential that anyone in this position commits themselves to living out these core values every day.
We also uphold our service vision: "Happy People Making People Happy." We want people who love what they do, who find joy in making others laugh or smile, and who want to use fun and happiness to make a difference in the lives of coworkers, clients, and fans.
Applicants should be studying a subject in a relevant field, such as Sport Management, Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Sales, Accounting, or Human Resources. The internship runs from May 11, 2026, to August 11, 2026. College credit towards a major, minor, or general elective may be earned. Housing is available upon request (intern is responsible for utilities), and a monthly stipend of $500 is provided.
