Based in our Brea, CA location, this position operates under the Background Supervisor to conduct POST-compliant pre-employment and public safety background investigations. You will support sworn and non-sworn law enforcement officers, dispatchers, fire marshals, investigators, and civilian staff. The role involves managing investigative timelines, interpreting complex data from federal and state agencies, and analyzing criminal history, financial reports, and legal documents to draw logical conclusions.
Beyond investigations, you will engage in contract administration, including analyzing service agreements, responding to RFPs, and monitoring contract performance. You will also maintain professional relationships with financial institutions, educational organizations, and law enforcement agencies, while traveling for temporary duty assignments to conduct interviews.
We offer a flexible work environment that encourages collaboration across offices and remote teams. All new hires must complete an introductory period, after which the role requires two days per week in the Brea office, with other days available for remote work.
