Reporting to the Background Supervisor, this position is dedicated to conducting POST-compliant pre-employment and public safety background investigations. You will support sworn and non-sworn law enforcement officers, public safety dispatchers, fire marshals, fire investigators, and civilian police staff. The role requires exercising discretion to manage investigative timelines, interpret complex data from various agencies, and analyze legal and financial documents to draw logical conclusions. Beyond investigations, you will assist with contract administration, client relationship management, and maintaining required certifications.
This role is based in our Brea, CA location. We offer a flexible work environment that encourages collaboration across offices and remote teams. All new hires complete an introductory period, after which the schedule requires two days per week in the office, with other days available for remote work.
