This high-velocity sales position is designed for a hunter who will prospect and win net new small to medium business customers within a defined territory. You will be responsible for ramping and onboarding net new won accounts to further expand our customer base. The role leverages a prioritized call list to drive prospect engagement remotely by phone, video, face-to-face, and utilizing digital tools.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers in Arkansas and Missouri. While this is a remote position with a regional focus, the successful candidate must live within or adjacent to this region. Your day will involve exhibiting effective appointment-setting skills, discovering prospects' incremental and programmatic needs, and effectively communicating Staples' value propositions, capabilities, and product assortments. You will work closely with internal partners, including customer support, setup teams, and category specialists, to progress deals forward to a "closed won" status and create sticky accounts that continue to purchase from Staples.
