This high-velocity sales position is designed to hunt within a defined territory to prospect and win net new small to medium business customers. As a B2B Sales Associate, you will be responsible for ramping and onboarding net new won accounts to further expand our customer base. You will leverage a prioritized call list to drive prospect engagement remotely by phone, video, and face-to-face interactions, utilizing digital tools to maximize efficiency.
You will act as the bridge between our customers and our solutions, discovering incremental and programmatic needs while effectively communicating Staples' value propositions, capabilities, and product assortments. The role requires creating sticky accounts that continue to purchase from Staples by integrating feedback from prospects into your sales approach. Success in this position involves working closely with internal partners, including customer support, setup teams, and category specialists, to progress deals from initial contact to closed won.
This is a remote position with a regional focus. The role primarily supports working from home but requires the individual to live within or adjacent to the Arkansas and Missouri region to effectively support customers in these areas.
Candidates will be evaluated based on their drive to win, proven track record in business development, and ability to function independently. The selection process looks for individuals who view rejection as a learning opportunity and possess strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
