Our mission is to drive growth by prospecting and winning net new small to medium business customers within a defined territory. As part of a high-velocity sales team, you will leverage a prioritized call list to engage prospects remotely via phone, video, and face-to-face interactions, utilizing digital tools to expand our customer base.
You will serve as the primary connector between Staples and new B2B clients, responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding. This position requires a consultative approach to discover incremental and programmatic needs, effectively communicating our value propositions across all product categories. You will work closely with internal partners, including customer support, setup teams, and category specialists, to progress deals from initial contact to "closed won." Your goal is to create sticky accounts that continue to purchase from Staples by integrating prospect feedback into your sales approach and supporting product selection and standardization.
Candidates selected for this role will move through a streamlined interview process designed to assess both sales acumen and cultural fit. The journey typically includes an initial screening to verify qualifications, followed by a deeper dive into your sales methodology and past successes. Final rounds involve scenario-based discussions to evaluate your ability to handle objections and close deals in a competitive environment.
