The Athletic Communications Department at Union College promotes student-athletes through our website and wide-ranging media relations efforts. This position offers students a variety of communications opportunities for those interested in the athletic communications field.
This role is exclusively available to students who qualify for Work-Study. If you are unsure whether you have been awarded Work-Study, please contact the Financial Aid office at finaid@union.edu.
Working under the supervision of Steve Sheridan, you will be based at the Alumni Gym and at sporting events. The position offers a dynamic day-in-the-life where you may assist at home athletic events with statistical inputting and spotting, run the clock or scoreboard during games, and write game recaps for the athletics website. You will also have opportunities to produce social media graphics and assist with website maintenance. While candidates may choose to specialize in one area, you may be asked to take on other duties as needed.
