The Associate Relationship Manager position is part of the Banker Development Program, a two-year initiative designed to advance the careers of the next generation of bankers in Commercial Banking. This program combines formal training, on-the-job experience, and professional support to prepare participants for future leadership roles in relationship management, sales, or credit.
As an Associate, you will work alongside Senior Relationship Managers, engaging in real client situations to support business growth. You will participate in developing and growing client relationships, structuring and modifying loans, and presenting solutions to financial decision-makers. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain a working knowledge of the organization while exercising independent judgment and developing expertise in relevant policies and compliance requirements.

This role is based in Virginia with potential locations in Richmond, Virginia Beach, or Roanoke. The position offers a hybrid work schedule (4 days in-office, 1 day remote). Relocation assistance may be available, and the role requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
