About the Role
LewisGale Medical Center is seeking an Associate Program Director to support our Internal Medicine Residency Program within Healthcare & Medical Services. This position is vital for maintaining the high standards of our training program, ensuring a seamless blend of clinical excellence, compassionate care, and lifelong learning.
In this dynamic tertiary care setting, you will serve as a key partner to the Program Director, helping to design curriculum, supervise residents, and ensure strict compliance with ACGME standards. Your day-to-day impact will be felt through direct clinical supervision, bedside teaching, and the mentorship of residents as they navigate their professional growth. You will collaborate closely with faculty, hospital leadership, and department heads to optimize educational experiences and foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
Beyond administrative oversight, you will model high-quality internal medicine practice by providing direct patient care as an attending physician.
