Pennsylvania American Water is seeking an Associate, Operations Project Manager to join our team in Butler, PA. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to gain exposure to the business and build leadership skills while supporting investment, growth, and continuous improvement across operations and functional areas.
In this role, you will serve as a strong partner to both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing exceptional communication skills to manage daily testing at the wastewater facility, new service investigations, and mainline extension projects. You will collaborate with developers, customers, and municipal planning committees to foster strong working relationships with engineering firms, vendors, and contractors. The position involves assisting in the implementation of new customers into the distribution system, preparing correspondence for various agencies and the public, and supporting activities related to new acquisitions, including due diligence and customer integration. You will also be responsible for planning and permitting water distribution infrastructure, performing data analysis, and ensuring appropriate safety management systems are established for all projects.
