The Assistant Supervisor plays a vital leadership role within our Next Step Apartments Program in Madison County. This position is designed to support the Supportive Living program and ensure seamless operations. In the absence of the Program Manager, the Assistant Supervisor partners with the Assistant Supervisor of Maxwell House to supervise program staff.
This role serves as a bridge between administrative oversight and direct participant care. You will assist in the oversight of program case records through regular chart audits, ensuring strict compliance with NYS OASAS regulations. A key part of your day involves maintaining the physical plant, including regular inspections of Stone Street and the Supportive Living apartment units to ensure they meet all health and safety codes. You will also manage routine medication audits to guarantee accuracy and availability for residents.
As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will provide direct counseling services and case management as needed. The role requires flexibility to respond effectively to emergency situations, manage staff coverage, and facilitate crisis interventions and staff debriefings. You will share on-call responsibilities and assume administrative and supervisory tasks delegated by the Program Manager, stepping in to perform the duties of the Assistant Supervisor of Maxwell House and the Program Manager when necessary.

At least two (2) years of related supervisory experience in the behavioral health field. CASAC or CASAC-T certification.
Skills: Case Management, Counseling, Chemical Dependency, Residential Programming, Osha, NYS Oasas Regulations.
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required.
