Beacon is a successful, national private-equity backed behavioral health company dedicated to providing residential-based services and supports to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness, Autism, and high-acuity behaviors. Our mission is rooted in our "I CARE" core values: Integrity, Compassion, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence. As a Beacon employee, you are expected to align with these goals and perform in accordance with our policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
This position serves as a vital leader within our residential care operations, ensuring the safe, compliant, and effective management of assigned homes. You will operate these facilities in a manner that meets company goals, including budget targets and clinical effectiveness, while fostering a supportive environment for both the individuals served and the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) you supervise.
Your day-to-day impact involves building positive relationships with referral sources, government agencies, and licensing bodies to coordinate admissions and ensure seamless care. You will collaborate with clinical teams to implement trauma-informed care, ensuring that individuals' social, emotional, and physical needs are met through person-centered plans. Beyond clinical oversight, you will manage home budgets, payroll costs, and facility maintenance, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-functioning living environment.
We strive to create a culture that is sensitive and responsive to the feelings of our individuals, helping staff overcome stigmas and respond with dignity. You will be evaluated not only on your job knowledge and quality of work but also on your ability to demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and cooperation. We expect you to model our core values in everyday behavior, treating individuals, families, and team members with respect while maintaining a safe community environment.
Beacon is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status. All activities related to this position must be delivered in compliance with state and federal licensing requirements, HCBS guidelines, and the contractual requirements of Community Mental Health Agencies.
