We are seeking a resourceful, driven, adaptable, and customer-focused team member to join us as an Assistant Store Manager. In this role, you will support the Store or General Manager in the daily operations of our bookstore. You will play an instrumental role in carrying out the manager's directives while supervising employees and tasks. This position requires you to work directly with customers, manage cash handling, build teams, and solve problems on a daily basis. Your goal is to help the store meet or exceed sales goals, identify business opportunities, and motivate the team to create customer experiences that enhance bookstore loyalty.
Qualified candidates will be reviewed for their experience in retail settings and supervisory capabilities. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals with strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills who can thrive in a flexible schedule environment including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
