About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you are the heartbeat of our store, passionate about delivering the best shoe store experience for the whole family. You act as the store leader in the absence of the Store Manager, driving a culture where customers feel the "Famous Feeling" and return with loyalty to our brands. This role is for someone who loves shoes, stays ahead of trends, and is dedicated to developing a team that inspires every guest to say, "I'll take it."

You will serve as the Store Manager's right hand, stepping into their shoes to uphold high standards, ensure policy compliance, and refine your leadership skills. What You'll Experience

Your day-to-day involves inspiring a team with integrity and drive, focusing on customer relationships and operational excellence. You will infuse coaching moments to sharpen selling behaviors and champion talent discovery by networking for exceptional hires. From managing daily operations like pricing and inventory to leveraging insights to drive sales, you ensure the store runs as smoothly as a tightly laced sneaker.

You will also support staffing levels, assess team strengths, and partner with the Store Manager to develop internal talent. Whether you are mentoring associates on selling techniques or maintaining a positive mindset during challenges, your elevated engagement will be a key tool in increasing retention and improving performance.
