About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Family Dollar in Nelsonville, Ohio. In this role, you will partner with the Store Manager to drive store operations, elevate customer service, and foster team development. You will be the backbone of our daily activities, ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment for both our associates and the 20 million shoppers we serve.
Day in the Life
Your day will be a dynamic mix of leadership and hands-on execution. You will guide the team through opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store is ready for business and secure at the end of the day. From organizing merchandise transfers from delivery trucks to the sales floor to maintaining the visual appeal of our seasonal areas, you will keep the store running smoothly.
You will also play a key role in team growth by helping to supervise, train, and develop Store Associates. Whether you are processing corporate directives, managing loss prevention, or ensuring the cleanliness of the entire facility, your goal is to maintain high standards while supporting a high-energy team environment.
