Assistant Department Manager (Stone)

About the Role

This position serves as a vital link between our team and our customers, dedicated to training and developing Product Sales Specialists while ensuring every shopper receives exceptional service and accurate product information. You will be the driving force behind our core retail philosophy, teaching the 'basic P's' of retail—People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, and Purchasing—to foster a culture of excellence.

In this role, you will guide the department's merchandising, pricing, and organization, ensuring the showroom floor is always inviting and accurate. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of leadership and hands-on work: from validating product placement and processing merchandise to leading 'how-to' classes for customers. You will also manage inventory needs, oversee safe lifting practices, and ensure the team is proficient with industrial trucks and point-of-sale systems.

Working Environment

This role operates within a busy warehouse and showroom environment. You will frequently interact with moving vehicles and navigate areas with moderate to noisy sound levels. The position requires physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and moving objects, as well as standing, walking, and reaching throughout the shift.
