About the Role
This position serves as a critical guardian of company assets, dedicated to executing comprehensive safety initiatives and reducing loss through strategic inventory recovery and theft prevention programs. The role exists to protect the organization's physical and financial well-being by actively monitoring surveillance systems and partnering closely with the District Asset Protection Manager to oversee and implement robust Asset Protection (AP) strategies.
In this capacity, you will be the frontline defender against both internal and external threats. Your day-to-day involves conducting plainclothes surveillance to detect loss, performing thorough investigations into illegal activities, and apprehending individuals involved in criminal acts. You will serve as a vital liaison between the store level and district leadership, identifying conditions that impact shrink, safety, and profitability while ensuring all AP strategies are effectively executed on the ground.
Beyond enforcement, this role requires a high degree of professionalism and integrity. Whether preparing case reports for criminal prosecution, testifying in court and labor hearings, or managing conflict in high-paced environments, you will act as a trusted partner to law enforcement and internal stakeholders.
