This position serves as a central technical expert and process guide for aseptic liquid processing and packaging across all Kroger Manufacturing food plants. The role exists to drive the company's "Customer 1st" strategy by ensuring the highest standards of Safety, Quality, and Reliability (SQR) in our aseptic operations.
You will function as a key contributor to the development of Kroger Manufacturing's aseptic product strategy, bridging the gap between engineering design and plant execution. The day-to-day involves creating detailed engineering plans for a diverse range of products, including dairy, juices, blended products, and viscous concentrates. You will lead projects that optimize existing manufacturing lines, troubleshoot complex issues, and evaluate new technologies to enhance productivity and safety.
Beyond technical execution, this role requires strong leadership that embodies Kroger's 7 High Performance Work System principles and core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. You will be accountable for incorporating personnel and food safety regulations into every solution, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local codes while supporting the continuous improvement of SQF Systems.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to travel independently as needed and work within environments containing food allergens. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who can demonstrate a strong grasp of engineering disciplines, plant operations, and construction while maintaining the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
