This position serves as a critical technical expert and process guide for aseptic liquid processing and packaging across all Kroger Manufacturing food plants. The role exists to drive the company's "Customer 1st" strategy by ensuring the highest standards of Safety, Quality, and Reliability (SQR) while maintaining operational efficiency.
You will function as a strategic contributor to the development of Kroger Manufacturing's aseptic product strategy, creating detailed engineering and design plans for a diverse portfolio ranging from dairy and juices to viscous concentrates and pastes. The day-to-day involves optimizing and troubleshooting existing manufacturing lines, managing complex projects with defined budgets and schedules, and evaluating new technologies to enhance the product portfolio.
Leadership in this role requires embodying the 7 Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles and demonstrating core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. You will be accountable for incorporating personnel and food safety requirements into all solutions while maintaining up-to-date awareness of federal, state, and local engineering codes.

Experience in the food manufacturing industry with a strong preference for dairy or beverage. Capital project management experience greater than $1MM. Knowledge of other liquid food and beverage processing technologies including extended shelflife (ESL), ultra clean, and hot fill. Proven experience in food safety, hygienic design, aseptic, beverage, dairy, and juice design standards.
