This position serves as a technical expert and process guide for aseptic liquid processing and packaging across all Kroger Manufacturing food plants. The role is designed to maintain and elevate plant performance by driving excellence in Safety, Quality, and Reliability (SQR) while championing the "Customer 1st" strategy. You will function as a key contributor to the development of the company's aseptic product strategy, creating detailed engineering and design plans for a diverse range of products including dairy, juices, blended items, viscous concentrates, and pastes.
In this capacity, you will optimize and troubleshoot existing aseptic manufacturing lines to enhance quality, productivity, and safety. The role involves managing multiple projects from conception to completion, handling manpower, budgets, scheduling, equipment, and materials. You will also evaluate and present new technologies, conduct feasibility studies, and perform cost-benefit analyses to ensure the aseptic product portfolio remains competitive and innovative.

Experience in the food manufacturing industry with a strong preference for dairy or beverage. Capital project management experience greater than $1MM. Knowledge of other liquid food and beverage processing technologies including extended shelflife (ESL), ultra clean, and hot fill. Proven experience in food safety, hygienic design, aseptic, beverage, dairy, and juice design standards.
