This position serves as a technical expert and process guide for aseptic liquid processing and packaging across all Kroger Manufacturing food plants. The role exists to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate execution of operations that uphold our Safety, Quality, and Reliability (SQR) standards while driving our "Customer 1st" strategy.
You will function as a key contributor to the development of Kroger Manufacturing's aseptic product strategy, creating detailed engineering and design plans for a diverse range of products including dairy, juices, blended products, viscous concentrates, and pastes. The day-to-day involves optimizing and troubleshooting existing aseptic manufacturing lines to enhance quality, productivity, and safety, while also preparing conceptual designs to enhance the current or new aseptic product portfolio.
Leadership in this role requires embodying the 7 Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles and demonstrating core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. You will manage multiple projects involving manpower, budgets, scheduling, equipment, and materials, while evaluating and presenting appropriate current and new technologies. A significant portion of the role involves conducting feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and maintaining an up-to-date awareness of federal, state, and local engineering codes and regulations.

Experience in the food manufacturing industry with a strong preference for dairy or beverage. Capital project management experience greater than $1MM. Knowledge of other liquid food and beverage processing technologies including extended shelflife (ESL), ultra clean, and hot fill. Proven experience in food safety, hygienic design, aseptic, beverage, dairy, and juice design standards.
