About the Role
The Security Supervisor serves as a critical leader within the Tulsa Arts District, overseeing security operations across a diverse portfolio of cultural and community assets. These locations include Guthrie Green, Low Down Jazz Club, Fly Loft, the Woody Guthrie Center, the Bob Dylan Center, and the Tulsa Artists Fellowship offices and studios, along with any future properties acquired or managed by GKFF in the area.
In this capacity, you will manage and implement security protocols for both physical facilities and the storage of confidential information. The role requires a blend of operational oversight and hands-on leadership. You will be responsible for training and mentoring security officers, conducting daily briefings, and ensuring that all personnel adhere to departmental policies and procedures. The position may involve specific shift assignments and flexible hours to meet the dynamic needs of the Arts District.
A key aspect of this role is fostering a safe and secure environment for team members and guests. You will conduct regular walk-throughs, investigate security-related incidents, and serve as a liaison with local law enforcement to ensure coordinated efforts. Additionally, you may assume the duties of the Security Manager as needed, providing continuity of leadership.
Hiring Process
Applicants must hold a current Phase IV CLEET Armed License prior to the offer of employment. As this is a safety-sensitive position, all candidates must receive a negative result on a 10-panel pre-placement drug screening, including THC, regardless of medical marijuana license status.
