The Area Sales Director serves as the senior commercial field leader for an assigned territory, acting as a primary architect of our sales-driven culture. This role is defined by a "lead from the front" approach, requiring daily presence in accounts to close high-value opportunities alongside the team. You will drive total revenue growth with a specific focus on LAL implant expansion, while building and leading a team of Account Managers and Clinical Specialists.
In this position, you will view surgeons as business partners rather than just customers, navigating clinical complexity with confidence. You are accountable for setting the commercial strategy for your geography, managing territory-level performance, and ensuring the full area team is oriented toward both revenue growth and superior customer outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives in a competitive environment and is energized by developing talent while driving tangible results.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to complete specific training requirements within 30 days of hiring, including the Insider Trading Policy, Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy, and Code of Business Conducts and Ethics. The role requires extensive travel across the assigned area and attendance at national and regional meetings.
