This position serves as a strategic partner to Area Leaders, driving business strategy through deep expertise in human capital and labor relations. The role exists to ensure that HR initiatives are seamlessly integrated with operational objectives, fostering a positive work environment while managing complex employee relations matters. You will lead the HR team for the area, coaching other people leaders and advocating for the associate experience across multiple sites.
You will spend your time balancing office-based strategy with significant field presence, traveling 50% to domiciles and events. Your day involves collaborating with Business Leaders to influence strategy, conducting investigations into complex HR issues, and facilitating the implementation of action plans derived from employee surveys. A key part of your routine includes supporting talent planning, managing performance improvement processes, and ensuring organizational structures align with business goals. You will also work closely with legal and functional partners to assess risk during workforce changes and termination approvals.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle record. The role requires a minimum of 7 years of HR experience, including direct leadership experience and labor relations expertise. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience is required, with PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
