This position serves as a strategic partner to Area Leaders, driving business strategy through a deep understanding of business implications, including employee and labor relations. The role is designed to bring HR expertise to operational discussions, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and company performance.
You will lead the HR team for the area, coaching and counseling other people leaders while managing complex employee relations matters. The role requires a proactive approach to culture change, implementing strategies that support business-related events and foster a positive work environment. You will advocate for the associate experience, facilitating action plans to address issues surfaced through employee surveys and ensuring new policies and programs are communicated and implemented consistently.
This role operates within a dynamic environment, spending time in inside office settings, warehouse facilities, and domiciles. The incumbent will be based in one of the markets within the area they support. Significant travel is required, with approximately 50% of time spent visiting domiciles and attending events.
