This position serves as a strategic partner to Area Leaders, driving business strategy through deep expertise in human capital and labor relations. The role exists to ensure that HR initiatives are seamlessly integrated with operational objectives, fostering a positive work environment while managing complex employee relations matters. You will lead the HR team for the area, coaching other people leaders and advocating for the associate experience across multiple sites.
You will spend significant time in diverse environments, including offices, warehouses, and domiciles, to stay connected with the workforce. A core part of your day involves collaborating with Business Leaders to influence strategy and participating in key meetings to bring HR expertise to operational discussions. You will drive talent planning, support performance improvement, and facilitate the implementation of action plans derived from employee surveys. Additionally, you will conduct investigations into complex HR matters, manage risk in termination processes, and lead culture change initiatives. The role requires substantial travel (50%) to various domiciles and events to ensure consistent execution of policies and programs.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle record. The role is based in one of the markets within the supported area, with a requirement for 50% travel.
