This position serves as a strategic partner to Area Leaders, driving business strategy through deep expertise in human capital and labor relations. The role exists to ensure the area's operational success by aligning HR initiatives with broader business objectives, managing complex employee relations matters, and fostering a positive work environment.
You will lead the HR team for the area, coaching other people leaders while collaborating with functional partners and HR Centers of Excellence. A significant portion of the day involves engaging with business leaders to influence strategy, conducting investigations into complex HR issues, and implementing change management strategies for business-related events. The role requires a balance of office-based planning and field presence, with 50% travel required to domiciles and events to support the workforce directly.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate a proven track record in leading HR functions within labor-intensive industries. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals with strong relationship-building skills at senior levels and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
