This position serves as the operational heart of a HUD-subsidized multiple-family apartment community. The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site management and maintenance functions to ensure the efficient and compliant operation of the property. Acting as the primary liaison between on-site tenants and PPEP headquarters, the role focuses on maintaining a safe, well-maintained living environment while managing the financial and administrative aspects of tenancy.
The day-to-day rhythm involves a blend of administrative precision and on-site presence. You will coordinate all rental paperwork, from interviewing prospective tenants and certifying eligibility under HUD regulations to managing move-in/move-out inspections. A significant portion of the role is dedicated to resident relations, including collecting monthly rental fees, issuing receipts, and handling the coordination of evictions for delinquent residents when necessary. Beyond the office, you will inspect grounds and facilities, perform minor repairs, and manage work orders by prioritizing them for maintenance technicians or escalating complex issues to the PPEP maintenance department.
Candidates demonstrating the required experience in site management and a valid Arizona driver's license will be considered. The selection process evaluates proficiency in record-keeping systems, computer software (MS Office suite), and the ability to manage maintenance staff effectively.
PPEP is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse workforce. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
