Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Enrollment Counselor serves as a vital link between Charleston Southern University and prospective students and their families. This role is designed for an articulate and confident individual who thrives in both one-on-one and group settings, guiding applicants through the admissions and financial aid processes with care and clarity.
The position involves extensive interaction via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings, often requiring evening and weekend availability. Counselors will travel to various locations throughout the United States to represent the university, necessitating a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
