About the Role
Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana is actively recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible adult cardiac anesthesiologist to join a 100% cardiothoracic practice in the Midwest. This role exists to support significant practice growth driven by service line expansion and the opening of new operating rooms.
You will join an established team of 12 physicians, delivering a broad range of anesthetic care to cardiac, thoracic, and EP services across two suburban hospitals. The clinical case variety is extensive, including major aortic cases, structural heart interventions (such as TAVR and MitraClip), CABG, robotic thoracic procedures, and a busy EP service. Additionally, you will contribute to a growing transplant and LVAD surgical heart failure program. With a total case volume exceeding 1,300 open hearts per year, this position offers a robust and diverse clinical environment.
The practice setting is designed for work-life balance, with call taken from home and post-call time off. About the Facility
Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis is a major teaching and tertiary-care hospital with 840 beds. Serving a broad primary population within Marion County, the hospital is a designated Level I Trauma Center. It serves a population of approximately 970,000 residents and operates as part of an integrated referral network within the national Ascension system.
