Analyst, Operations and Billing

About the Team

You will join the SpiderRock Advisors Operations and Billing team, a critical function supporting the Options Overlay Business. This team is dedicated to ensuring operational excellence, accuracy, and efficiency in all billing processes. As a key member, you will act as a subject matter expert, driving initiatives to reduce risk, increase scalability, and enhance the client experience through continuous process improvement and system consolidation.

About the Role

This role is designed for a highly disciplined and detail-oriented Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial part in the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual billing lifecycle, ensuring the accurate generation of client invoices and the timely reconciliation of accounts receivable. Beyond transactional accuracy, you will serve as a bridge to external partners, providing personalized service and proactive communication to exceed expectations.

Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with internal business and technology partners to lead automation and standardization projects. You will master multiple systems to streamline workflows, identify overlaps, and integrate processes seamlessly. A core part of your mission is to understand how your responsibilities fit into the broader BlackRock and SMA Solutions business model, recognizing the impact of your decisions on clients and the firm.

Work Model
