This position serves as a strategic partner to Human Resources Administration (HRA), dedicated to delivering data and analytical insights that support and develop HR best practices. The role is designed to bridge the gap between complex data analysis and actionable business strategy, ensuring that HR operations are driven by accurate, timely, and visualized information.
You will be instrumental in identifying control weaknesses and recommending risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization. A key component of this role involves maintaining strict regulatory compliance for FedEx Freight across state, local, and federal requirements. By collaborating closely with Legal and other functions, you will help avoid penalties, fines, or potential litigation while ensuring all postings and processes adhere to applicable laws and company policies.
Your work will span the full lifecycle of data management and process improvement. You will analyze data methods, evaluate existing workflows, and develop, test, and implement new HRA processes. This includes creating and maintaining project visions and scopes, as well as developing and validating queries for reporting and database analysis in partnership with HR Technology to ensure data integrity and avoid overlap.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to transforming reporting processes into efficient visualizations using tools like Oracle and Spotfire. You will research new system functionalities, maintain procedure documentation for system enhancements, and develop training materials to support end users. Whether troubleshooting data issues or transitioning existing deliverables to more efficient formats, your goal is to continuously improve the efficiency and accuracy of HR data operations.

Experience using data mining tools and data visualization: Statistical Analysis Software (SAS), Structured Query Language (SQL), Spotfire and Oracle. Knowledge of human resources and system business processes and practices. Project management experience.
