About the Role
The Dynamics 365 Developer will design, build, and support applications that enhance the experience for students, faculty, and staff. This role plays a critical part in advancing our digital ecosystem by delivering innovative solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform stack. The successful candidate will collaborate across IT teams and academic departments to ensure technology enables learning, research, and operational excellence.

This position is based in our Virginia Beach office.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign, develop, and deploy custom solutions within Dynamics 365 using plugins, JavaScript, workflows, and Power Apps
- check_circleConfigure and extend Dataverse entities, forms, dashboards, and security roles to support business needs
- check_circleIntegrate Dynamics 365 with enterprise applications such as student information and learning management systems
- check_circlePartner with business analysts and faculty to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
- check_circleMaintain and optimize existing Dynamics 365 configurations to ensure reliability, performance, and security
- check_circleProvide technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to IT colleagues and campus stakeholders
- check_circleMonitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements following best practices
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- verified3–5 years of professional experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
- verifiedProficiency with C#, .NET, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
- verifiedExperience building workflows, Power Automate flows, and custom connectors
- verifiedFamiliarity with Dataverse, Azure services, and SQL Server
- verifiedMicrosoft certifications such as PL-400 or MB-300/MB-500 preferred
Nice to Have
Experience integrating enterprise applications in higher education. Microsoft certifications such as PL-400 (Power Platform Developer) or MB-300/MB-500.
