LaSante Health Center is a federally qualified, multispecialty practice located in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. We serve a diverse community including Flatbush, East Flatbush, Crown Heights, Park Slope, Little Haiti, and Little Caribbean. Our board-certified physicians provide comprehensive care across family medicine, pediatrics, adult care, preventive services, dentistry, podiatry, optometry, women's health, and behavioral health programs.
We are seeking a reliable and professional Ambulette Driver to support safe and timely transportation for our patients. This role is vital to ensuring that members with disabilities and mobility limitations can access the comprehensive care they need. You will be the face of LaSante during transit, demonstrating consistent punctuality and a deep commitment to professionalism while prioritizing patient safety and quality service.
In this position, you will operate ambulette buses with a focus on defensive driving and adherence to all traffic laws. Your day will involve providing courteous and compassionate assistance to members, including safely operating vehicle lifts and securement systems to assist with boarding and exiting. You will also maintain the cleanliness and sanitary condition of the vehicles and ensure accurate documentation of trips and inspections using mobile applications.
We offer flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our patients and our team. Weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts are available. Full-time schedules (40+ hours per week) are required, with weekend and holiday availability preferred.
