About the Role

As an Amazon Warehouse Equipment Operator, you will be the backbone of our logistics network, operating order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and other powered industrial trucks (PIT) to handle customer orders safely and efficiently. This role exists to ensure that pallets are unloaded, loaded, stored, and retrieved with precision, keeping our fulfillment centers running smoothly. Whether you are maneuvering equipment at heights up to 45 feet or using handheld technology to track inventory, your work directly impacts the speed and accuracy of deliveries to millions of customers.

No prior experience is required; Amazon provides all necessary PIT training and certification for free. You will learn to operate a variety of equipment, from stand-up forklifts to order pickers, while adhering to strict safety protocols in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The workspace is active and varied. You will operate and work around moving equipment, including mobile carts and rolling cages. While the facilities are generally climate-controlled (between 60°F and 90°F), temperatures can fluctuate based on the season and specific warehouse zones. The environment can be noisy at times, and hearing protection is provided when needed. Dress code is relaxed and comfortable, though closed-toe and protective safety footwear are required in select areas.

Schedule and Flexibility

Our sites operate 24/7, offering a wide range of shift options to fit your lifestyle. You can choose from Early Morning, Daytime, Evening, or Overnight hours, with full-time, reduced-time, part-time, or flex-time schedules available. Many shifts offer flexibility, including options for 2-day or 3-day weekends, with opportunities for overtime based on business needs. You can select a fixed weekly schedule or opt for a flexible arrangement that adapts to your life.
