IVA'AL Solutions, LLC supports the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP) by staffing qualified professionals at U.S. Air Force Military Treatment Facilities across the country. The AF FAP is a Department of Defense-funded initiative dedicated to preventing and responding to intimate partner abuse, child abuse, and problematic sexual behavior involving children and youth.
Located at Whiteman AFB, the Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA) serves as a critical non-clinical resource for Air Force personnel, family members, and intimate partners who are victims of abuse. This role exists to provide private, confidential, and emergent support whenever requested, prioritizing the safety and well-being of victims above all else.
In this position, you will be the first point of contact for victims alleging abuse, offering 24/7 response capabilities via telephone or in-person. Your day will involve establishing and reviewing individualized safety plans, conducting risk assessments, and empowering victims to make informed decisions about their safety and that of their children. You will collaborate closely with base agencies, including Security Forces, the Office of Special Investigations, and medical facilities, to ensure a coordinated community response. While the core hours align with the AF Clinic (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM), the role requires remaining on-call to respond to emergencies outside of normal duty hours, with compensation provided for flex hours or overtime as per government policy.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. The selection process includes a thorough criminal history and security clearance background check. Successful applicants will also need to provide proof of current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification and documentation of required immunizations (Hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, influenza) and a negative TB skin test prior to starting work.
IVA'AL Solutions, LLC is an equal employment opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, national origin, age, disability, family medical history, political affiliation, or military service.
