About the Role
We are looking for an AI Video Editor Team Lead who is equal parts strong leader, project manager, systems builder, and editing geek. This role exists to elevate a team of 3 to 7 editors through mature management, strict quality control, and deep AI integration. You will be the bridge between creative vision and technical execution, ensuring videos not only look great but actually sell.
In this position, you will automate workflows to achieve business goals, moving beyond basic prompting to build structured templates and pipelines that eliminate manual friction. You will own the task distribution process, handle complex project routing, and ensure clean, on-time delivery. While you will guide the team to new professional heights and manage workloads to prevent burnout, you will also remain hands-on, jumping into the editing software to unblock the team or test new technical approaches.
You will work tightly with Creative Producers, Copywriters, Media Buyers, and Marketers to align on technical feasibility and solve bottlenecks. Your day will involve analyzing failed creatives to understand what went wrong, building a database of top-performing concepts to scale winning ideas, and actively pitching new visual formats and AI-driven approaches to turn creative hypotheses into reality.
