The Agency Asset Manager I serves as a key member of the Agency Finance Asset Management team, playing a vital role in supporting Underwriting and Asset Management functions. This position is primarily focused on conducting comprehensive physical inspections of multifamily assets, specifically managing collateral inspections for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
In this role, you will partner with property management teams to access and evaluate apartment buildings, ensuring all inspections meet strict agency guidelines. Your work involves identifying deferred maintenance, safety hazards, and compliance issues while producing detailed reports that outline current conditions, necessary repairs, and estimated costs. This position requires frequent travel to various locations and the physical ability to conduct walkthroughs of large properties, including climbing ladders for roof inspections and traversing extensive grounds.
