The Chemical Management Services (CMS) team operates as a turnkey outsourcing program, custom-designed to handle sourcing, purchasing, and vendor-managed inventory for industrial and transportation markets. We are seeking a CMS Supervisor to join our team in North Charleston, SC. In this onsite role, you will provide leadership for the Chemical Management Program, serving as the primary contact for customer inquiries. You will manage a team of material handlers and coordinators to oversee chemical inventory management at our customer facility.
Your day-to-day involves ensuring the fulfillment of products to the customer's point of use, managing shelf-life inventory, and delivering chemical data and KPI reporting. You will be responsible for accomplishing all defined contract obligations, identifying resources, and maintaining project management timing charts. Additionally, you will support the identification of annual cost savings projects, train new team members, and implement resolutions when supplier problems arise. This position reports directly to the CMS Manager.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 3+ years relevant experience in warehouse and inventory management, business process analysis & improvement, lean & six sigma, quality assurance, team facilitation, materials management, enterprise resource planning (ex. SAP), and cost reduction. Supervisory or management experience. Prior experience in Customer Relationship Management. Prior experience working with Sales, Marketing, and Business Managers. Experience with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
