About the Role
The Admissions Registered Nurse serves as a vital link in delivering skilled nursing care within the Shelby and Chilton territories. In this full-time capacity, you will provide and document comprehensive care in strict accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders. Your work ensures that every patient receives professional, confidential, and boundary-respecting support while adhering to all state and federal regulations.
Day in the Life
Your day involves continuously observing and assessing patient conditions to identify changes in care needs, reporting these updates to supervisors and physicians as appropriate. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and updating nursing care plans, taking appropriate nursing actions to achieve expected outcomes and mitigate risks. A key part of your role is educating patients and their families on disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies. You will also maintain professional competency by participating in ongoing educational programs and skill evaluations.

Requirements
