About the Role
The Care Center Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team at Angela Hospice, delivering skilled professional nursing care within our inpatient facility. Guided by the Felician Franciscan Core Values, this role is dedicated to upholding the philosophy of compassionate end-of-life care, ensuring that every patient and family receives individualized support that honors their dignity, culture, and beliefs.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with physicians, the interdisciplinary team, and families to develop and manage comprehensive care plans. Your day-to-day involves assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and providing education on disease processes and symptom management. Beyond clinical duties, you will act as a mentor and supervisor to LPNs, SNAs, hospice aides, and volunteers, fostering a supportive environment where the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients are met with empathy and professionalism.

Work Environment
This role operates within a 24/7 hospice care facility, requiring flexibility to work regular, additional, and holiday shifts, including inclement weather. The environment is dynamic, involving direct interaction with patients, families, and team members across various areas of the building. While the role involves physical demands such as lifting and transferring patients, it also emphasizes maintaining a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for everyone we serve.

Requirements
