About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Circle of Life, you will connect your compassion and expertise with exceptional community care. This role is dedicated to providing personal care to hospice patients and maintaining their immediate environment with dignity and respect.

You will work as part of a team that adheres to accepted standards of practice and our mission statement, ensuring consistent, high-quality care regardless of the setting. Whether in our inpatient facilities or visiting patients in their homes, you will be responsible for direct personal care, including bathing, turning, and oral hygiene. You will follow individualized care plans, utilizing clinical judgment to assess patient needs and intervene appropriately.

The position requires a deep ability to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and the unique stresses of hospice care. You will communicate concerns to primary nurses, document care accurately, and assist in mentoring new staff members. Your presence will be felt during regular scheduled visits, unscheduled needs, and at the time of death, ensuring patients and families feel supported throughout their journey.

Work Schedule

We offer flexible shift options to suit your availability:

• Inpatient CNA: 12-hour shifts, with both night and day options available.
• Outpatient CNA: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Application Instructions

To join our team, you must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant certification, current CPR certification, and satisfactory TB skin test documentation. A minimum of one year of healthcare experience, preferably with terminally ill patients, is required. Additionally, candidates must have a valid Arkansas Driver's License, current auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation to travel to patient homes or facilities.
