About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will serve as the operational backbone of our nursing facility, supervising day-to-day activities to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a safe, warm, and professional environment for both residents and staff.
You will act as a bridge between the Director of Nursing Services and the frontline team, ensuring that policies are not only written but actively practiced. Your day involves a dynamic mix of clinical oversight, administrative leadership, and direct resident engagement. From coordinating care plans with physicians and families to managing medication safety and infection control protocols, you will be responsible for the continuity of care across every shift.
Beyond clinical duties, you will cultivate a culture of excellence by leading staff development, participating in quality assurance committees, and ensuring that every team member feels supported and empowered to deliver compassionate care. Whether you are conducting daily rounds, managing admissions and discharges, or addressing complex care needs, your leadership directly impacts the well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSupervise day-to-day nursing activities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- check_circleConduct daily rounds to monitor personnel performance and adherence to nursing standards
- check_circleAdmit, transfer, and discharge residents while coordinating with physicians and families
- check_circleDevelop and schedule in-service training classes and assist in clinical supervision of trainees
- check_circleMonitor medication administration, treatment schedules, and review medication cards for accuracy
- check_circleReview and update resident discharge plans and assist in planning resident care
- check_circleEnsure adequate staffing levels and delegate administrative authority to Charge Nurses
- check_circleParticipate in facility surveys, quality assurance programs, and committee meetings
- check_circleCoordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of resident care
- check_circleManage employee performance evaluations, grievances, and disciplinary actions
- check_circleProvide direct nursing care including IVs, specimen collection, and vital sign monitoring
- check_circleDevelop, maintain, and update written policies, procedures, and the Nursing Service Procedures Manual
