About the Role

We are seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team as the first point of contact for our HR office. In this role, you will serve as a professional, courteous, and welcoming resource for employees, leadership, residents, and families. Your work will ensure the smooth operation of HR functions, from maintaining accurate personnel records to supporting talent acquisition and onboarding initiatives.

You will play a vital part in fostering a positive employee experience by coordinating onboarding activities, assisting with new hire orientations, and supporting employee engagement programs. This position requires a service-oriented approach, demonstrating compassion and professionalism in every interaction while managing sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleMaintain and update employee data and personnel records within the HRIS platform to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • check_circleCoordinate pre-employment processes including employment verifications, background screenings, and drug testing
  • check_circleEnsure personnel files and HR documentation remain compliant with organizational policies and employment regulations
  • check_circleSupport talent acquisition by coordinating appointments, preparing interview materials, and partnering with hiring managers
  • check_circleSchedule and coordinate onboarding activities including new hire paperwork, orientations, and system access
  • check_circleAssist with new hire orientation and employee integration initiatives to support a positive onboarding experience
  • check_circleServe as a resource to employees and leadership by responding to inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits
  • check_circleGenerate and maintain recurring HR reports, metrics, and workforce data as requested
  • check_circleCollaborate with the HR team to coordinate employee engagement and recognition programs and events
  • check_circleProvide administrative support to the education committee including meeting minutes and budget processing
  • check_circleMaintain strict confidentiality regarding employee, organizational, and sensitive business information

Requirements

  • verifiedBachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
  • verifiedProfessional Human Resources Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred
  • verifiedMinimum of 3 years of administrative or operational support experience required

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration. Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent). Prior Human Resources Experience.
