The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the School Infrastructure Program administered by the Puerto Rico Department of Education (PRDE). This role is critical to supporting day-to-day program operations related to school facilities, capital improvement projects, and recovery or modernization initiatives.
You will serve as a central point of contact, coordinating across multiple stakeholders including PRDE staff, contractors, vendors, and government agencies. The position requires high attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage the flow of information between PRDE central offices, regional offices, and school sites. Your work will ensure that documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are met with precision, supporting the successful execution of infrastructure projects funded by federal or recovery sources.

Experience supporting capital projects, construction, facilities management, or infrastructure programs. Familiarity with public-sector or federally funded programs (e.g., procurement, compliance, documentation). Experience working with PRDE or other Puerto Rico government agencies. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).

Education: Associate's degree or higher in Business Administration, Office Administration, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
