Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator for a non-profit organization based in Midtown Manhattan. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity designed for a detail-oriented professional ready to support the Finance team's critical operations. The role serves as the operational backbone for vendor payments, ensuring that financial workflows are accurate, compliant, and efficient.
In this hybrid position, you will work onsite four days a week. Your day-to-day involves leading the end-to-end processing of vendor invoices, managing payment runs, and maintaining rigorous financial controls. You will act as the primary communication hub for the AP department, resolving inquiries from both internal stakeholders and external vendors while ensuring all documentation meets IRS regulations and internal policies.
Beyond transactional processing, you will play a key role in month-end close cycles by assisting with AP aging reports and account reconciliations. You will also provide strategic support to Finance leadership through ad-hoc reporting and data analysis, helping to keep the organization's books balanced and transparent.
