Founded in 2004, Brilliant Corners provides innovative housing and housing-related services to California's most vulnerable individuals, with a specific emphasis on those transitioning from, or at risk of, homelessness or institutionalization. We develop, own, and manage multi-family supportive housing and licensed residential care homes. Through partnerships with developmental services, homeless services, veterans' services, and health care sectors, we implement a broad array of scattered-site, one-on-one supportive housing, and clinical case management programs.
While we are growing rapidly, we remain selective. We are seeking inspired, talented people who want to effect profound change and who have fun doing it. Our offices are statewide, staffed by passionate individuals dedicated to our mission.
The Accounting Supervisor, Accounts Payable (AP) serves as both a hands-on contributor and a team leader for our Northern California operations. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day AP operations, including the supervision of a team of three accountants. You will ensure the timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and credit card activity while maintaining strong internal controls.
You will partner closely with Programs, HR, and Finance to ensure accurate disbursements, compliance with organizational policies, and efficient workflows. Due to the dynamic nature of program funding and operational needs, you will adapt to shifting priorities and evolving processes. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is committed to supporting diverse populations.
Our work is guided by core values that shape our culture:
Brilliant Corners does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, and vendors. We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
