Work Environment
This is an in-person position; work from home or remote options are not available. The role will start as part-time with the potential to transition to full-time. Candidates must be fluent in English, though Spanish-speaking abilities are a plus.
Qualifications Overview
We are seeking candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably within a small to medium-sized company. A strong foundation in financial concepts, including accrual accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and financial management, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and experience with ERP systems (Sage or Sage Intacct preferred) are required. While an Associate's Degree in Business or Accounting is preferred, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Familiarity with public accounting is also advantageous.
