About the Role
This position serves as a strategic financial leader, providing hands-on direction for the organization's accounting functions during a significant transition period following a planned retirement. The Controller ensures rigorous regulatory compliance while managing essential reporting, forecasting, and audit activities. The role is designed to stabilize financial operations and prepare the organization for long-term growth.
You will lead the annual audit process, oversee the NAV job cost system, and manage the transition of critical tasks by hiring and cross-training an Assistant Controller. Beyond core accounting duties, you will serve as a 401(k) co-trustee and collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet organizational deadlines. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in the Cleveland area, requiring a leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
